In July 2007 Kumho Tyres announced that it had signed a four-year sponsorship deal with Manchester United.

STC-PR worked with both partners to enhance and promote the sponsorship deal working across the company's retail dealer network.

The deal, settled for an undisclosed sum, witnessed Kumho obtain the rights to include the football team’s logo and images of the players in its advertisements.

The company sponsorship agreement helped the Korean tyre manufacturer promote their international image.
